Position summary
Description
HIS/HER RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE,
BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
Provide a warm
and efficient welcome to guests to the restaurants including confirming
reservation details and escorting them through to the bar or restaurant area as
appropriate.
Interact with
guests displaying good product and company knowledge showing an enthusiasm for
food and wine.
Gather and pass
on all guest details to the front of house teams detailing guest
requirements/preferences to be included in ResPak.
Ensure
cleanliness of the reception area and guest facilities, logging all cleaning
issues in line with the restaurant procedure.
Ensure all
telephone calls and enquiries are dealt with in an efficient and friendly
manner.
Deal with guest
reservations ensuring covers are distributed evenly and capacity is maximized
within the restaurants.
Present bills
to the guests, ensuring relevant payments are processed and that all cashing up
procedures are followed at the end of each service.
Ensure that
covers are distributed evenly throughout the restaurant in order to maintain a
smooth service and to maximize capacity.
Ensure that any
special guest requirements are correctly recorded and passed on to the relevant
parties.
Present bills
to the guests, ensuring relevant payments are processed and that all cashing up
procedures are followed at the end of each service.
Ensure that all
event sheets or special requests are posted to all relevant people daily and
weekly.
Maintain
communication with the managers and senior chefs to inform of any reservation
changes that could affect the flow of service.
Ensure
cleanliness of the reception area and guest facilities, logging all cleaning
issues in line with the restaurant procedure.
Ensure
compliance with all health and safety regulations including evacuation and bomb
procedures.
Ensure
adherence to uniform standards at all time.
To work as part
of the overall restaurant/hotel team to ensure a high standard of guest service
is achieved at all times.
Minimum experience and qualification
requirements for position:

§ Due to constant public contact,
grooming is a factor of the utmost importance and must adhere to appearance
code guidelines as set in the Grooming Standards Policy
·
§ Knowledge of appropriate table
settings and service ware.
·
§ To be fully competent in the usage
of the MICROS and RESPAK system
·
§ Knowledge and experience in a
similar high volume, quality lead operation for a minimum of 2 years
·
§ Engaged in the ATP and Gordon
Ramsay Group standards and philosophy
Contract length: 12 months
Salary: up to 5000 AED
