Description

You ensure the Hotel and Uniforms storage area is kept clean and in proper conditions. You also ensure that all Hotel and Uniform supplies have been ordered and inspected for quality and accurate quantities during loading operations. 

HIS/HER RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for loading, offloading storage of all the items in the Hotel and Uniform storerooms, managing all the aspects pertaining to Hotel & Uniform goods.
Responsible for physical inventories and control in all the Hotel & Uniform central storerooms, including the good conditions of the items and the expiration date control (ink cartridge and toner).
Responsible for proper Hotel items rotation and use of FIFO procedure.
Responsible for the preparation of the internal requisitions, after their approval.
Coordinating the requested personnel during loading and offloading.
Responsible together with Inventory Manager in preparing the external requisitions and in processing data in MXP.
Responsible for managing and processing uniforms with MXP.
Accountable for people under his responsibility. Highlights potential candidates to Inventory Manager.
Responsible for managing Hotel and Uniform Central Stores with reference to Health and Sanitation, Safety Management System and Environmental policy.



Minimum experience and qualification requirements for position:

·        Required to speak, read and write in English in an Advanced level in order to understand and interpret written procedures. This includes the ability to give and receive instructions in written and verbal forms.

·        Thorough knowledge of storeroom operation and storing procedures.

·        Experience on material management systems, preferably MXP.

·        Good knowledge of cruise ship operation.

·        Familiar with all departments and their functions within Hotel / Uniform operations.

·        Must have extensive experience within shore and ship based stores operation.


Contract length: 6 months on/ 2 months off
