Description

You ensure a friendly and professional service following the S.T.A.R. Service Experience standards while maintaining the pool area and resort decks clean and in order at all times. Consistently and effectively delivering beverage related services in the same areas, in accordance with department SOP’s.

 

HIS/HER RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Professional welcoming and sales orientated F&B Service following the S.T.A.R. Service Experience Standards.
Ensuring absolute cleanliness and order in accordance with HACCP and USPHS rules as well as department SOP’s and supervisors directions.
Operation of service procedures according to SOP’s and Department Service Standards.
Set-up working areas in accordance with standards and procedures in advance of first guest arrival and during the day until closing.
Supplies must be refurbished and replaced continuously throughout the day.
Used towels are returned to the Laundry Department for washing.
Sun chairs and all other furniture in the working area is maintained spotlessly clean at all times and immediately “restored” when a guest vacates.
You must be maintain complete knowledge of all Food and Beverage served in the area as well as in any area when substituting another position.
You must maintain knowledge of all complimentary Bar Menus to deliver exceptional service at all times.
All service delivery must follow all applicable standards and procedures at all times.
Actively take part in any training provided and ensure maximum retention of what has been shared.
You must not operate any equipment that you have not been trained to operate and when operating any equipment use great care to prevent damage or injury.
Keeping and storing of any assigned inventory stock in accordance with set par-levels following safety and sanitation rules and regulation.
Assisting in other departments upon instruction from supervisors as required.

Participating in loading as required and on direction of supervisors.
Performs related duties as requested by. This position description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by the shipboard employee occupying this position. Shipboard employees will be required to perform any other job-related duties assigned by their supervisor or management

 


Minimum experience and qualification requirements for position:

·        At least 2 years in similar position in 3* or 4* operation.

·        Very Good English skills, other languages are an asset

·        International experience / shipboard experience is an asset

·        Ability to work independently, service and sales oriented and guest focused, positive personality, ambitious and with professional appearance.

·        Flexible and stress resistant, team player, shows commitment

·        Preferred age 18 –30.


Contract length: 8 months on / 2 months off


Salary: 800$
