To provide guests
with courteous and professional service.

for the company by applying up-selling techniques.

Responsibilities
·
Mixes drinks, cocktails and bar beverages as ordered in compliance with company
standards.
·
Accurately completes orders placed by bar waiters/waitresses in a prompt and
efficient manner.
·
Maintains clean and orderly lounges / bars.
·
Responsible for beverage costs & stock in his/her area. Conducts end of
cruise inventories (checking par levels with Asst. Bar Manager). Additional
further spot checks may occur throughout all bars at any given time.
·
Prepares requisitions for supplies based on the bars set par level using the
empty for full replacement system.
·
Ensures proper rotation of stock (First In â First Out).
·
Ensures that the bar has a copy of the daily Cruise News.
·
Knows the daily specials and special promotions.
·
Knows his/her bar menu well and is able to explain and suggest drinks.
·
Provides personalized service (remembers guests names and preferences).
·
Adheres to the vesselâs drinking age policy.
·
Helps as necessary in replenishing stock in various bars.
·
Attends weekly bar staff meetings and training sessions as required.
·
Works at special parties (Repeaters Party etc) and private functions.
·
Conducts general cleaning and maintenance according to Shipsan, the European
sanitation program, and U.S.P.H. standards.
·
Handles all shipâs equipment with utmost care and reports any faulty/broken
equipment.
·
Assists management with coaching and introduction of new personnel.
Minimum experience and
qualification requirements for position:

⢠Minimum of 3 years
beverage-related service experience
Contract length: 8 months
Salary: 950 USD + commission
